Multiple Futures; Multiple Possibilities.

When we think of our future, we think of perhaps one future. Most people’s future is primarily based on the same present, perhaps with a few changes. It’s called “Default Future”.

Talks about this concept of a default future in the amazing book called, “The Three Laws of Performance: Rewriting the Future of Your Organization and Your Life” by Steve Zaffron and Dave Logan.

The concept of a "Default Future" is based on our expectations of what we believe our future will look like. Most often our expectations are based on our past experiences in life. This default future outlook determines and shapes our present view, our thoughts, beliefs, values, behaviors, and actions.

However, if we are able to make a slight shift in thinking and imagining a different future for ourselves, this opens up multiple futures and multiple possibilities.

This does not mean that this future is guaranteed, that it will 100% happen. As we know no one, but God alone, knows the future and can predict it.

However, knowing that there are multiple possibilities of a different future, helps us to our present actions, and ignites us to walk towards this desired future, thereby triggering a change within us and a change in our default future.

Our default future based on our past experiences, events, and beliefs, ceases to exist, and a new future opens up for us. Every shift that we make today creates a new future for us.

If we choose to start walking today and stay consistent with it, then a new future with a fitter, healthier self opens up immediately.

If we choose to start eating healthier today and stick with it, then a new possibility and a new future are created.

If we choose to start taking care of our finances and investing today and stick with it daily, then a new vibrant future of abundance and prosperity is awakened.

This is the imagined future! The future of limitless possibilities!

Let’s dream it, and start moving towards our Shine Vision Future.
